Technical Management and Support for the Arab Fisheries Company Group (AFCG) is provided by the AquaBioTech Group - www.aquabt.com, an independent international aquaculture, fisheries and environmental consulting, development, research and management company.
Based on the Mediterranean island of Malta, the company has clients and projects in over thirty-five countries and has one of the most comprehensive and experienced team of consultants in the world. The AquaBioTech Group also has its own fully equiped Research, Development and Training company (ABT Innovia) based in Malta where they undertake research and development work to ensure that all of their designs are proven before being used in commercial applications.
The facility is also available to clients who waht to send staff for training in new culture techniques or become familiar with new technologies and operational protocols. The AquaBioTech Group invests heavily in its R&D company and also undertakes a large amount of contract research for its clients who lack such facilities and/or require independent testing and verification. Such is the calibre of the work undertaken that four of the worlds top five aquaculture feed companies use their facilities for testing of new feeds and noval ingredience.
With this agreement, the AquaBioTech Group, and its Middle East office called ABT Arabia and based in Jeddah, support all of the Arab Fisheries Group projects and are heavily involved in the concept and business planning aspects of the operations.
